STRYME introduces new member of the GENESIX product family

At this year’s IBC in Amsterdam, STRYME GmbH from Austria will launch GENESIX LIVE, a novel broadcast solution and the latest member of the GENESIX product family. The new product enables live events, news playout as well as planning and automation through its software, ‘GENESIX LIVE Production Studio’, and the all-in-one system ‘GENESIX LIVE Production Server’. Many renowned international broadcasters already rely on STRYME’s state-of-the-art, cost-effective and user-friendly broadcast solutions.

As a further advancement and the result of many successfully realized client projects, GENESIX LIVE perfectly responds to customer needs. With its pre-installed GENESIX LIVE Production Studio Software, the all-in-one GENESIX LIVE System is a simple, yet professional and smart choice for the failsafe operation of entire TV stations. For the first time ever, only a single system is needed for processing live events (with up to 4 input channels) and realizing planning as well as studio production at a reasonable price. The solution can be utilized for a live production with up to 4 cameras or 4 studios. Using GPI or TCP/Remote (SDK available), live broadcasts from the studio become child’s play and are easily integrated into the existing broadcasting environment. User-friendly and self-explanatory, GENESIX LIVE leaves no room for mistakes.

STRYME CEO, Mr. Goce Zdravkoski elaborates on the idea behind this innovative solution which is already in use by many broadcasters: “Our customers and the numerous projects we have successfully completed for them gave impetus to the development of GENESIX LIVE. It was a case of ‘your wish is my command’: while our customers already enjoy the quality, speed and flexibility of our fully-fledged GENESIX solutions, they increasingly requested an easy-to-use live broadcasting feature.”

GENESIX LIVE is based on the proven quality components (such as the Matrox X.MIO2 video card and the HP ML350 G8) of earlier GENESIX versions and the upgraded GENESIX Media Engine system, employed in many past projects. The new product thus offers what customers have grown accustomed to: a reliable solution for an around the clock operation. “At STRYME we want to make sure our customers get the best money can buy. Besides ensuring a failsafe operation, we are constantly in search of even better solutions and product improvements which make life easier for our customers. That is why we have also extended the existing GENESIX modules, one of them being the support of 4:2:2:4 video overlays,” explains Goce Zdravkoski.

STRYME will be introducing all GENESIX LIVE features and benefits for the first time at the IBC in Amsterdam.
